Red Crane, Green Base

The red crane stretched across the scene like a line drawn against the sky. Below it, the first trees of the new park rose from their planters, bright against the brick and scaffolding.

The drawing became about connection—how the mechanical and the natural are tied together here, each shaping the other in this changing place.
