Why Not Art is entering our 2nd season of curating and producing "pop-up" art exhibits in the Gowanus area. Join us for one - or all - of the shows we are presenting this fall. All shows are open for Arts Gowanus Open Studios weekend Sat/Sun October 15-16 and remain on view until December or later.

4th Avenue Connects! - 4th Ave Community Yarn Bomb - On view October 2- November 13

Arts Gowanus, Forth on Fourth Avenue (FOFA), The Old Stone House and Why Not Art are supporting this community effort to “yarn bomb” the fence bordering 4th Avenue. Featuring iconic images from the neighborhood and important social justice messages that are important to our community, the "4th Ave Connects" yarn bomb brings a vibrant, colorful expression to the area. Artistic Direction by local artist Beverly Crilly with over 30 contributors from all over NYC.
