One thing we know for sure, it's going to flood at some point.
In Hamburg, Germany, recent rains led to the Elbe river rising 17 feet higher than usual. In most other cities, this would have led to disaster, but Hamburg has flooded in the past and has fortified the city against the major damage caused by this type of disaster.
So the fish market is designed to accept flooding (that's why the lights are still on).
Available as Framed Original and Prints
The original is 16" x 12" and is framed and matted in a 22" x 16" black frame with a simple white mat. The prints are beautiful accurate representations of the original. They are printed on 19" x 13" archival Hahnemuhle German Etching paper with a .5" border on the sides and 1.5" borders on the top and the bottom.
