In this phrase, the dancers lift their arms and roll their bodies and it looks like they're going to take off into the air. The dancers are 16-18 years old, learning a dance for the first time, and their youthful energy is apparent.

Help support dance education.

This drawing is from a series based on the young dancers at Dancewave, an amazing dance school in my neighborhood that introduces young dancers to top New York City choreographers. All sales of the work go to support the organization, providing scholarships to worthy dancers.

I'm selling both the original and archival prints that fit standard frames.

The original is 24" x 18" brush and sumi ink on paper. The prints are slightly smaller with the image size at 20" x 16" on 22" x 17" paper so they fit in a standard (inexpensive) 24" x 20" frame and are printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching paper which has a slight texture. They are printed on a top-of-the-line printer using archival inks.
